It all started in February of 2022 during a time when we both decided to explore the world of online dating. Both of us skeptical yet somewhat hopeful. After swiping through countless bumble profiles, Ariel stumbled upon Jakub’s profile, which immediately caught her eye.

After reviewing his profile, she felt a spark of interest and swiped right… and a big MATCHED popped up on the screen indicating he had already expressed interest in her first. She knew she had to send the first message. With no hesitation at all, she typed out and asked, “Do people call you Kubuś?” And the rest was history!

To our delight, we discovered so many common interests, from being foodies to our mutual love for travel and similar music genres, to name a few. It felt like we had known each other forever.

Jakub insisted on picking up Ariel for their first date and upon arrival brought her one of many future flower bouquets! Our first date was at Saki Sushi, and we both remember feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. However after his Sapporo & her Mai Tai, all felt at ease. By the end of the night, we knew this was just the beginning of something special.

As we continued to date, our bond grew stronger, filled with laughter, adventures, camping trips, road trips, international travels, and countless memories. Looking back, we are so grateful that we took a chance on each other in the vast world of online dating. It truly was one of the best decisions of our lives, and we can’t wait to see where our journey takes us!
